I’ve lived in the city for 4 years now and have honestly had a good experience so far. I live in a quite neighborhood and have had no issues with crime or violence. However, there are areas that are more dangerous so just research before buying or renting a home. There are plenty of nice and safe neighborhoods with reasonably priced living.

Hello! I am thinking about relocating to South Bend from FL.. Can you advise if Taylor Street on the Washington Historic District is safe or if I should stay clear? Have a baby and a handicapped mother in law and sent want to move to an unsafe place. Thank you!
